à la fin… by Nicolas Lichtle.
"Here is a film ... , it's neither fiction nor animation, the graphic style is rather singular. It's a moment of introspection, very intimate, staged through a succession of small moments imbued with poetry, absurdity and sometimes surrealism…"

(Un)Related To God by Thomas Pons
"A track by Apollo Noir, entitled « Unrelated to God », chanting God’s name…
Wait… Yes, it seems we are facing a paradox. Men strive to name God, to define Him, as much as they are willing to detach themselves from Him.
This traditional 2D animation video is about our relationship to God, the little figures embodying the metaphor of Men as builders of their own belief. The dust from stones disintegrate in elementary particles giving birth to new figures and matter. Men, stones and particles transform in mysterious cycles, Particles turning gigantic, Stones becoming alive, Men growing in colossal sculptures. ..."
Written & performed by Apollo Noir.
Directed by Thomas Pons.

MAN ON THE CHAIR by Jeong Dahee
“Man on the chair” is tormented and constantly doubts his very own existence. It is just merely a picture that I created... Perhaps could I be also an image crafted by others?
Genius Loci by Kazak Productions
"One night, Reine, a young loner, sees within the urban chaos a mystical oneness that seems alive, like some sort of guide."
2D paper animation.
Fruit by Gerhard Funk
"Rise into being, mature, perish – 'Fruit' tells a creation story.
As the animated short film unfolds, it brings forth a play of shapes illustrating the dialog between two mythological forces – the West and the East."
Music by Tobias Schneider
Character design by Paul Muresan & Gerhard Funk
The Fishman by Leto S. Meade
"The journey of a dying fish’s last moments. 'The Fishman' formally embodies the transitory, shapeshifting nature of life and the inevitability of change by plunging its disembodied anthropomorphic protagonist between different mediums and styles."
From Over Here (On Stuttering) by Patrick Buhr
"This is a film about stuttering. Oh, and also about apple trees, catcallers, Goethe's Faust, pigeons, forests and girls on horses."
